What’s a Hearing Voices Cafe?
Many human experiences like hearing voices have, in our culture, been mystified and made taboo and yet are remarkably common. Making such experiences even harder to talk about makes it harder to live with. This results in more of us struggling and yet more left feeling helpless to support those who are struggling with experiences we have been taught to dismiss and fear but which can often be deeply meaningful and spiritual.

Hearing Voices Café is rooted in the simple belief that we can come together to talk about difficult human experiences in ordinary language and in ordinary places – so we do.

We invite you to join us for a different kind of conversation about what it means to be human.
