Here’s a short animated information film made by young people about the experience of hearing voices.
The movie is the result of a project by Voice Collective in London and is a creative and simple way of presenting different experiences insights and explanations of hearing voices.
“how would you react if a friend came into school with a broken arm?
– why is that different if your friend is struggling with hearing voices?”

Good for the kids… I’m concerned about comparing voices with hair colour or height – reinforces the “born with” theory? I like the “broken arm” comparison better….

you might be analysing too furiously -hearing voices is more common than left-handedness but we regard that as normal -least we do now…….people with certain hair colours still can find themselves treated unfairy…and there are many explanations of where voices come from, Part of what the [whole] film does is to place them side by side: you get to make your own mind up about what you think…..
