On February 14, 2013, together with one billion women around the world and the men who love them, Torontonians will also raise their voices and dance together in solidarity with those who have survived violence. We will be in numbers, joyful, expressive, loud, spontaneous, fun, inclusive, accessible and community-driven.

One Billion Rising Toronto will consist of two events on February 14:

– A Public Rally

– A Dance Party
These events provide an opportunity to Torontonians to join together and with the world to dance as an act of solidarity, demonstrating to women the commonality of their struggles and their power in numbers and a refusal to accept violence against women and girls.
