Rufus May – brain gym


Another of the presenters at the November conference in Toronto.

Rufus May takes us through a series of simple exercises we can use to strengthen mind body connection, give ourselves some care and to help ourselves feel more relaxed – and more alive.

Brain Gym

Chair yoga

simple exercises you can do by yourself in a chair. So if you’re not used to doing yoga it’s a good introduction…

Face massage

a way to feel less anxiety and a way to giving yourself some care..

Yoga Punching

can be good for for releasing tension, letting out pent up emotion , releasing anger , grounding the mind can help with hearing voices especially if you are experiencing angry voices

Do-In

a self massage tool, good for grounding, waking up – if you feel groggy

Tensing

very good for grounding, releasing tension
